The market wa some better to-day than last week, some traders realising a better price for their cattle than What our quotations gave bet week. We quote best butcher and shipping cattle at $4 25 to (4 75, good and medium $3 25 to $3 75, common and rough are very dull at $1 50 to $2 50 per 100 lbs.

gross. Fresh milkers all to qual ity from $20 to $10. Sheep market to-day about the Sams a last week no change worthy of note. Best heavy are wiling at $3 60 to $4 00 per 100 lb, gross; common and mixed lota at $1 50 to $2 50 per head. Lamb market only fair- bat heavy ailing at $4 60 to $5 00 per 100 lbs.
