Doris Sue Doris Sue Burch, 75, of Science Hill, died Sunday, Aug. 3, at her residence. A native of Kodak, she was born Oct. 25, 1932, to the late James and Dorothy Daniels Richardson.

She was a homemaker, retired manager for Goldblatt, and of the Baptist faith. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Estep; and a brother, James R. Richardson. Survivors include her husband, Audley Burch of Science Hill; one son, Rodney (Debra) Burch of Stevensville, one grandson, Jonathan J. Burch Calvin Johnson Dunn, 75 Martha Gover Scott, 95, of Crab Orchard, died Wednesday, July 30 at her home.

A native of Crab Orchard, she was born May 22, 1913, to the late Wallace and Katie King Gover. She was a graduate of Crab Orchard High School where she was a member of the girl's basketball team and the first recipient of the school's Distinguished Alumni Award, graduate of Fugazzi Business College, teller for Crab Orchard Banking Company, CEO of Lincoln County National Bank, co-owner and manager of Gover and Scott's Dry Good Store, a school bus driver for the Crab Orchard School System, and widow of Clark Newland Scott. She was a member of the Crab Orchard Christian Church where she served as church secretary, member of the board of directors of Fort Logan Hospital and Crab Orchard Cemetery, member of Lincoln County Historical Society, Professional Business Women's Club, Lincoln County Homemakers Association, Winnebago Club, and Fox Hunters Association of Kentucky, and secretary of the Little World's Fair Horse Show. An accomplished musician, she played saxophone in the orchestra at Crab Orchard Springs Hotel, served as Grand Marshall of the Crab Orchard Fourth of July parade, wrote, directed and staged pageants celebrating Lincoln County's historical events, was coordinator of the Crab Orchard bicentennial celebration, recipient of the outstanding citizen award, and an avid University of Kentucky fan. Williard Sims, 71, of Eubank, formerly of Bethel Ridge, died Sunday, Aug.

3 at his residence. He was born Sunday, March 7, 1937 to the late. Ernest and Lori Faulkinbury Sims. He was a farmer and the widower of Violet Mae Wall. He was also preceded in death by a son, Calvin; three brothers, Robert, Randall and Donald Sims; and a sister, Dorothy Padgett.

Survivors include four children, Ronald Dale Sims of Waynesburg, Calvin Harold Sims, Reva Joy Wren of College Station, Texas, and Iva Carol McCullough of Science Hill; siblings, Darrell Sims of Danville, Francis Sneed of Franklin, Ima Gene Durham of C. Ray C. Ray Story, 69, of Vine Grove, died Monday, Aug. 4 at the North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation Center in Radcliff. Mr.

Story served as deputy superintendent and associate superintendent for the Hardin County Schools, principal, assistant principal, and English teacher at North Hardin High School, and was a sixth grade teacher at Vine Grove Elementary School. He was a member of the board of directors for Kentucky Association of Secondary School Principals, and president of Kentucky Association of Secondary School Principals, Fourth District Kentucky Association of Secondary School Principals, Fourth District Kentucky Association of School Administrators, Kentucky High School Athletic Association Board of Control for two terms, Campbellsville College Alumni Association, charter president of Vine Grove Optimist Club, two term member of Elizabethtown Community College Advisory Board, chairperson of the first Vine Grove Planning and Zoning Commission, member of Hardin County Public Library Board, and was an active member of Valley View Baptist Church. He was recipient of Radcliff Rotary Club Youth Service Award two times, the Radcliff Rotary Club Vocational Award, Radcliff Rotary Club Paul Harris Fellow Award, Campbellsville College Distinguished Alumnus Award, North Hardin Chamber of Commerce Calvin Johnson "Red" Dunn, 75, of Crab Orchard, died Thursday, July 31 at Charieston Healthcare Center in Danville. A native of Lancaster, he was born Oct. 13, 1932 to the late Charles and Sula Ray Dunn.

He was a retired employee of 29 years for Tecumseh Products of Somerset, owner of Dunn Concrete Finishing, and a member and trustee of the First Baptist Church of Crab Orchard. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Louie Dunn and his in-laws, Arthur and Birdie Nelson. Survivors include his wife, Beulah Nelson Dunn of Crab Orchard; one daughter, Victoria Dunn of Crab Orchard; sisters, Carolyn (Michael) Runyon and Charlie Peoples both of Lexington and Charlotte Ann (Dewey) Leavell, Yvonne Frye, Sonara Lee (Jamie) Black, and Sheila (Charles) Alcorn all of Lancaster; two brothers, Albert Darrell Spillman and Robert Edward (Diane) Ray Michael Michael E. Keisler, 64, of Crawfordsville, died Thursday, July 31 at his residence. A native of Williamsport, he was born July 21, 1944, to June Smith Keisler of Attica, and the late Louie Keisler.

He was retired from Harrison Steel, attended Attica High School, and attended Mellott Community Bible Church. He enjoyed fishing and watching auto racing. He was also preceded in death by an infant sister. Other survivors include She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis King Gover and Jimmy T. Gover.

Survivors include two nieces, June King Gover (Marion Dee) Bastin and Lea Shepherd Scott (Donald) Wooldridge, both of Stanford; two nephews, James Wallace Gover and Marshall Brown (Sandy) Scott, both of Crab Orchard; a sister-in-law, Mattie Gover of Crab Orchard; nine great nieces and nephews; six great, great nieces and nephews; and her caregivers, Carol Buckler, Missy Newcomb, Berry Seibers, Linda Ray, and Teressa Brown. Funeral services were Aug. 2 at the Crab Orchard Christian Church with Rev. Derrell Cone and Bro. Rob Hutcherson officiating.

Burial was in Crab Orchard Cemetery. Active pallbearers were James Wallace Gover, Grant Gover, Martin Bastin, Eric Wooldridge, Nelson Shelton, Marshall Brown Scott, II, and John Hopkins Scott. Honorary pallbearers were Henry Blankenship, Ernest Camell, Sam and Danny Ford, Eddie Allen, Cabell Francis, II, Edward Martin Teater, and Earl Teater Jr. McKnight Funeral Home of Crab Orchard was in charge of the arrangements. and Jonathan Shell both of Lancaster; step grandchildren, Tessa, Bret, Carly, and Derek Dowell; and two great grandchildren, Brianna Shell and Andrew Kiper.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today (Aug. 7) at Spurlin Funeral Home in Lancaster. Active pallbearers are Gary, Giles, and Jonathan Shell, Phillip Kiper, Phil Murphy, Mike Carter, Gary Gaffney, Richard (Ricky) Arnold, and Theo Powers. Honorary pallbearers are David Preston, Joyce Baker, Linda Ray, Tom Burnam, Bob Baker, Ellen Hagan, Katie Rollins, Joshua Brown, Rita Wylie, Maurice Middleton, and Linda Crace.

Saylor, 32 p.m. today (Aug. 7) at McKnight Funeral Home. Georgia Speaks Shell, 75 of Stevensville, four sisters, Billie Combs of Detroit, Pat Owens of Middleburg, Ohio, Jacqueline Mattingly of Radcliff, and Georgine Yates of Greasy Creek; one brother, Johnny Richardson of Greasy Creek; and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were held Aug.

6 at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill with Chaplain David Green officiating. A graveside service will be held today (Aug. 7) at 11:30 a.m. at Burch Cemetery in Sturgeon. both of Lancaster; and two very special friends, Turner Doty of Lexington and William "Billy" Richardson of Danville.

Funeral services were held Aug. 4 at First Baptist Church in Crab Orchard with Revs. Oliver D. Miller, Jr. and Robert P.

Gates officiating. Burial was in Crab Orchard Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Crab Orchard Cemetery Fund in care of Mr. James T. Vandiver, 8180 Crab Orchard Road, Stanford, KY 40484.

Keisler, 64 his wife, Lenora Petrey Keisler; one son, Mikal (Dawna) Keisler of Crawfordsville, one daughter, Susan (Shawn) McMullen of Veedersburg, one brother, Steve (Debbie) Keisler of Fishers, 21 grandchildren; and great grandchildren. Graveside services were held Aug. 6 at Woodstock Cemetery. Morris and Hislope Funeral Home, of Science Hill, was in charge of the arrangements.

Donnie Pike of Kings Mountain, Johnny Miracle Pike and James Melwood Pike both of Waynesburg, and Luke Pike of Liberty; one daughter, Betty Lou Mejia of Mexico; two sisters, Helen Lawless of Crab Orchard and Aline Faye Hodge of Waynesburg. Graveside services were Aug. 5 at Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg with Bro. Bobby Eldridge officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clarence Pike Memorial Fund at P.O.

Story, 69 Presidential Award, North Hardin Lions Club Community Service Award, Radcliff Jaycees Outstanding Young Man Award, and Fifth Region Athletic Directors Hall of Fame. He was also honored by North Hardin High School by naming the football stadium Ray Story Stadium. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cart and Bertha Story; two brothers, Willard and Harold Story; two sisters, Georgia Padgett and Selma Reynolds. Survivors include his wife, Sue Cecil Story of Vine Grove; two sons, Mark Story of Lexington and Tim Story of Vine Grove; three brothers, Darrel, Glen, and Randall Story all of Waynesburg; two sisters, Wilma Gooch of Stanford and Phyllis McMichael of Leitchfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 8 at 4 p.m. at Valley View Baptist Church in Vine Grove with Revs. K. Christian Burton and Raymond Ward officiating.

Burial will follow in the North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 Thursday (Aug. 7) at the Valley View Baptist Church Christian Life Center in Vine Grove and after 2 p.m. Friday at Valley View Baptist Church. James Hershel Yantis, 71 Clarence Earl Pike, 73 James Hershel Yantis, 71, of 206 Chippawea Lane, London, died Monday, Aug.

4. A native of Bryantsville, he was bom Nov. 16, 1936 to the late William Hershel and Mary Francis Barker Yantis. He was a quality engineer for IBM and an avid University of Kentucky sports fan. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Bernette Barrow.

Survivors include his wife, Martina Gilbert Yantis of London; children, Dawn Lynell Yantis of Charlestown, S.C., William Shawn Yantis of Londoa and Cynthia Erin Yantis Georgia Speaks Shell, 75, of Lancaster, died Friday, Aug. 1 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. A native of Garrard County, she was born Aug. 28, 1932 to the late Hamilton and Ada Greene Speaks. She was a lifelong member of Paint Lick Christian Church, a founding member of the Garrard County Fair Board and Tobacco Festival, a member of the Garrard County 4-H Council and the Farm Bureau Women's Committee, and a partner in the Shell Farms and Shell Farms Greenhouses.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl Speaks. Survivors include her husband, G. B. Shell of Lancaster; one son, Gary (Billie) Shell of Lancaster; a daughter, Terry Shell Brown of Lancaster; three sisters, Pat (Louis) Walters of Harrodsburg, Linda (Jim) May of West Virginia, and Jo Ann (Joe) Williams of Shelbyville; four grandchildren, Jamie Brown Kiper of Nicholasville, Elizabeth Kline of New York, and Giles Lewis Wayne Lewis Wayne Saylor, 32, of Crab Orchard, died Monday, Aug. 4 at the Rockcastle Hospital.

A native of Richmond, he was born July 21, 1976 to Delmer and Betty Sue Jordan Saylor. He was an employee of Arby's in Mt. Vernon and previously attended the Church of Christ. Other survivors include a sister, Jessica Sue Saylor of Crab Orchard; paternal great grandmother, Blanche Saylor of Crab Orchard; and many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, Aug.

1 at his home. A native of Louisville, he was born Oct. 26, 1934 to the late Charles Frank and Loretta Burke Pike. He was a member of the Miracle Temple Church.
